NOTE: Space is limited to the first 10 kids of each age and gender that sign up for each camp. If an age group has been filled, please add your child to the waiting list. We will do all we can to accommodate them at the camp.
The Runner’s Camp
The Runner’s Camp is a one-week, evening Christian camp centered on the sport of track and field for kids ages 6-12 years old. Campers are divided into groups by age and gender. We begin each evening with a short devotional from the Bible led by age group leaders. Following devotion time, campers receive instruction from area high school and college coaches and athletes in 8 track and field events and play some fun games too. At the end of the week, we host a track and field meet to let the campers showcase their abilities. Parents are encouraged to come and watch their campers compete.
Many adult and youth volunteers are needed. While track experience is helpful, there are lots of ways to help that do not require track and field experience.
